Lately, I've been having hankerings for chili. Chili and Reubens, but that's another story entirely.
Nothing too fancy. Just your standard bowl of chili, with a bit of shredded cheese and diced onions on top. Not complicated. Fairly easy to obtain. I've been ordering it whenever I'm in a bar at an hour where their kitchen is still open and I haven't started binge drinking yet. It has been a reasonably successful endeavor.
Recently, I also discovered that my favorite hot dog place near work served a decent steak taco. Tacos are significantly cheaper than a Reuben and I can never say no to tacos, so I went over there to order two of them and while I was there I noticed they had chili on their menu.
I thought, "Why not?" and ordered the chili, asking for cheese and onions on top which the nice man, who told me I have nice eyes, told me it would be no problem.
Long story short: they put nacho cheese on my chili.
